Jamie Loeb's tennis journey began at the age of three, influenced by her siblings. Jamie shares, "I started playing at the age of 3. It was the only sport I played competitively and had a true passion for."
Her dedication and talent quickly set her apart. Jamie became number one in the U.S. in the 14, 16, and 18 and under age groups, winning multiple national junior titles. She then excelled in junior ITF events, reaching a world ranking of 30.
Her collegiate career at the University of North Carolina was marked by triumph when she won the 2015 NCAA singles championship.
"I am most proud of my NCAA singles title that I won for the University of North Carolina in 2015. This kick-started my professional career as I was granted a main draw wildcard into the U.S. Open that summer. It was really special to win this title not only for myself, but for UNC."
Jamie has since amassed an impressive professional record, holding 11 singles titles and 17 doubles titles, with career-high rankings of 132 in singles and 117 in doubles. Her debut at the U.S. Open on Arthur Ashe is a testament to her dedication, passion, and skill.
