Eventually Hunter moved on from viewing tennis as a fun family activity and instead took this early passion and turned it into a life path. “I started playing competitively a bit later in life and was fortunate enough to improve enough to earn a scholarship to the University of Tennessee," Hunter shares. His dedication and passion for the sport culminated in winning the prestigious NCAA doubles title—an achievement that holds a special place in his heart.
"I’m most proud of my NCAA doubles title. The reason it is so special to me is because it was a goal that my partner and I set out to accomplish at the start of the season so to put forth such a concerted effort over the time span of the entire season to finally see all the work pay off was definitely a special feeling."
